Substance Abuse Counseling

You have to understand alcohol or drug addiction and their causes before you can conquer them. There are many factors that lead to substance abuse and addiction is different for each individual. We recognize that addiction is not just a problem with alcohol; it is intricately connected with a person’s mental health and overall sense of well-being. At PILLAR, we explain how drugs affect you, the reasons people turn to them and how to reclaim your life from alcoholism and other substance use disorders.  We have experienced LPCs and LCDCs to provide screening, evaluation, diagnostic, and treatment services to any person that suspects they are having issues in these areas.  These outpatient services are rendered by appointment and in a professional and confidential manner.  We take a big picture approach to addiction treatment – by addressing each client as an individual. By partnering with you and your loved ones throughout the recovery process, we prepare by customizing a program of research-based therapy and aftercare planning designed to anticipate some of the challenges you may encounter. Our treatment doesn’t just focus on the problem, we use a positive approach using your individual strengths, motivation, and desire to make positive changes in your life.

Referrals

You do not need a referral as we accept self-referrals along with referrals from local physicians, social workers, and family members as well as those generated from our partnering entities i.e. local and area schools, social service agencies, law enforcement institutions, and other community programs.
